(2) 2007 U.S. State Quarters & Wyoming Related Stamps SKU# 271540C
This lot is sure to appeal to U.S. History enthusiasts, coin collectors and philatelists! In 1999, the U.S. mint embarked on a decade long program that honored each state on a quarter. Each state's quarter would have its name, year of entry and a distinctive design on the reverse of the quarter along with the year of minting. These quarters are mounted on a cardboard sheet which describes the quarters on the front and on the reverse is a quick history of the state. Also mounted on the reverse are stamps related to Wyoming.
Features:
- Obverse: Inscription: "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA / QUARTER DOLLAR / LIBERTY / IN GOD WE TRUST
- Reverse: Inscription "WYOMING / 1890 / THE EQUALITY STATE / 2007 / E PLURIBUS UNUM" and the image of a bucking horse and rider.
- Quarter from the Denver Mint.
- Quarter from the Philadelphia Mint
- Stamp issued on August 26, 1975 to mark International Women's Year.
