The reverse side depicts an Indigenous guide and a Voyageur, a travelling agent for a fur company, paddling a canoe by an islet with bundles of goods; the bundle at the right is marked HB, representing the Hudson's Bay Company. Two wind-swept trees can be seen and the vertical lines in the background represent the northern lights. A fascinating coin you won't want to miss out on.
