This lot is sure to appeal to U.S. History enthusiasts, coin collectors and philatelists! In 1999, the U.S. mint embarked on a decade long program that honored each state on a quarter. - Obverse: Inscription: "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA / QUARTER DOLLAR / LIBERTY / IN GOD WE TRUST
- Reverse: Inscription "UTAH / 1896 / CROSSROADS OF THE WEST / 2007 / E PLURIBUS UNUM" Image on the reverse is of two steam locomotives facing each other moving towards the golden spike which joined the Central Pacific and Union Pacific railroads.
