Description
2011 Canadian Canoe $20 Fine Silver Commemorative Coin SKU# 271533C
Created by the Royal Canadian Mint in 2011, this coin was part of the popular "$20 for $20" series. The canoe has become as much a part of the Canadian visual lexicon as the Canada goose, the beaver and the maple leaf. This design shows a young person enjoying a recreational outing. The boy breaks from paddling to dip his hand in the water... and touches the past - the reflection reveals an early Indigenous paddler (or voyageur) in a traditional canoe as it also appears on the early silver dollar of 1935. A beautiful coin to add to your collection.

- Finish: specimen
- Weight: 7.96 g
