During 1977 Queen Elizabeth II celebrated the 25th anniversary of the accession to the throne. Many countries, including Canada recognized the event with a special commemorative coin. A great memento of Canada's rich history.
1977 Throne of The Senate Dollar Coin:
- Composition: 50% silver, 50% copper
- Finish: Specimen
- Weight: 23.3 g
- Diameter: 36.07mm
- Obverse reads: "SILVER JUBILEE ELIZABETH II JUBILE D'ARGENT 1952-1977" and shows a right facing portrait of Queen Elizabeth II
- Reverse reads: "THRONE OF THE SENATE, CANADA, LE THRONE DU SENAT, DOLLAR" and depicts the Throne of The Senate of Canada
- Coin comes sealed in protective plastic case and is housed in a leatherette clamshell case
