Issued by the Royal Canadian Mint in 1976, this fascinating specimen silver dollar coin commemorates the 100th anniversary of the completion of the Library of Parliament in Ottawa, Canada. This attractive building and popular tourist attraction was the only part of the original centre block of the Parliament Buildings that was saved during the disastrous fire of 1916. A wonderful coin memento of Canada's rich history.

1976 Canadian Library of Parliament Centennial Dollar Coin:
- Composition: 50% silver, 50% copper

- Obverse reads: "ELIZABETH II D.G. REGINA" and shows a right facing portrait of Queen Elizabeth II

- Coin comes in protective plastic case which is housed in a collectors leatherette clamshell case
