This wonderful proof silver dollar coin from the Royal Canadian Mint commemorates the 250th anniversary of the Saint-Maurice Ironworks in the province of Quebec. A great addition to any collection.
1988 Canadian St. Maurice Ironworks Quebec 250th Anniversary $1 Silver Dollar:
- Composition: 50% silver, 50% copper
- Finish: Proof
- Weight: 23.3 g
- Diameter: 36.07mm
- Obverse reads: "ELIZABETH II D.G. REGINA" and shows a right facing portrait of Queen Elizabeth II
- Reverse reads: "LES FORGES DU SAINT-MAURICE IRONWORKS CANADA 1988 DOLLAR" with the artist's initials "RRC" and depicts two ironworkers of the 18th century
- Coin comes sealed in a plastic display case and housed in a clamshell case
