This elegant glass chess set is a true collector's item. The 19cm x 19cm (7.5" x 7.5") board is made of glass with contrast etching for the playing squares and rubber anti-scratch pads underneath. The 32 chess pieces are clear and frosted (opaque) glass with felt bottoms for easy maneuvering on the board, and they're nicely weighted. This set is definitely the grown-up answer to that plastic chess set you've had since childhood. This is not a game to be kept in the box, but rather to be displayed and used for years to come.
