- Obverse: reads "1912" and shows a left facing portrait of Lady Liberty
- Reverse: "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA V CENTS E PLURIBUS UNUM" with an image of the V surrounded by a laurel wreath. Marked "D" from the Denver Mint.
